7 Funniest/Weirdest eBay Auctions of All Time

I came across this hilarious auction for postcards. As I was wondering about which friend to torture, I remembered some of the best eBay auctions ever, and threw together this list.

7. Dad takes out Jr with a tough life lesson involving guitar hero III. Busted and owned

6. Snopes- has uncovered the ugly truth about naked people on eBay. Not safe for work, because…uh…there’s naked people…

5. MSNBC has the story of auction of the Virgin Mary on Grilled Cheese.

4. Dumbass Daily (now THERE’S a site name!) has the story of a man who sold his cheating wife’s stuff on ebay while she’s on a trip here.

3. Mom gives up - Selling my pre-pregnancy “skinny” clothes here. I admire her honesty, as I still doggedly refuse to buy bigger jeans…

2. I couldn’t find a link to the original auction, but this was a great story. Six year old Collin Anderson was terrified that his Grandfather’s ghost wouldn’t leave. His mother Mary put the ghost up on eBay, but the terms of service wouldn’t allow just selling a spirit…so she included Grandpa’s cane. MSNBC has the story here.

1. This has to be the funniest auction I’ve ever seen- Larry Star sold his ex wife’s wedding dress, and got a book deal out of it to boot. Here’s his website, and he has the original auction here.
