Well that sucked. I noticed we had a 20 second page load, so there’s a problem. Humn…lots of suspects- probably way too many calls off site- but hey, do we give up the joke feed? The bikini picture? Hell no. So looking at some caching programs, and one just refused to let go or uninstall. I think I got it tamed- but in the meantime the site theme changed a couple of times while I fought with it. You guys crack me up- check out my inbox…

Thanks Becky, looks like the gzip of the css messed up the headers. A 3 second page load! Of course you couldn’t *READ* anything. Sigh.

I’ll keep working on it. Remember kids, never force anything. Always get a bigger hammer.

I cutover Twitfall to the excellent new Shifter theme. Nice clean design, let me know any issues. Also check out the two black buttons on the toolbar with the white vertical lines.Â You can move the sidebars!

Wow, traffic quadrupled last couple of days- hello to my fellow stumblers! Don’t forget if you chuckle to hit the thumbs up button- the thumbs down is… uh…broken… (If you have no idea what the hell I’m talking about, you should definitely visit StumbleUpon, it’s free and you’ll find more cool sites than you can share a stick at. Another cool addition to the site is feedjit. It’s running in the left side bar- and shows the locations of latest visitors. If you click the map it will blow up and show some additional detail. Welcome! Let me know if the site’s faster.
